Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments
Modern computer technology can remove a lot of the eye strain from using a computer workstation, which is great news for health and safety. There is, however far more to the Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Regulations 1992 (as amended in 2002) than just eye strain.
If you are not providing a workstation that is ergonomically right, it can cause a multitude of musculo-skeletal problems, which can lead to claims or enforcement actions. There is even a minimum requirement for light levels and even a maximum noise recommendation!
We are well-placed to help in a variety of ways to ensure that your organisation is complaint.
