Light in the Workplace
The Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010 places a requirement on organisations to assess the risk from exposure to non-ionising, optical radiation from such sources as lasers, laser radiation, light sources and non-coherent radiation.
Such sources can cause chronic adverse effects to skin and eyes including burns, blindness, cancers and dermatitis. Castle consultants can help with the management and control of these risks. We can help with the monitoring, assessment and exposure limitation, keeping you compliant and keeping the workforce safe.
