Stack Monitoring

The Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) regime in the UK provides a system of regulation for larger industries including permits for various emissions including those from chimney stacks.

Stack emission monitoring carries very specific requirements under the IPPC regulations and must be carried out by qualified personnel. Castle consultants are fully compliant with these requirements and are able to carry out stack emission monitoring. We use Environment Agency approved methods for monitoring the concentrations of substances in air emitted to the external atmosphere through your exhaust stacks. Our engineers are all MCERTS qualified and we are members of the Source Testing Association.
